Selection Process:- - Candidates who successfully apply for the advertised posts will be conducted Objective Type Written Test. This examination will be in 02 parts (Part A and Part B), in which Part-A will have Middle Standard Punjabi language paper, which will be of Qualifying Nature only. A minimum of 50 percent marks is required to qualify this paper. Part-B paper will be based on the educational qualification required for the post. The merit list of the candidates will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in Part B of the written test only.
- As per the decision taken by the competent authority from among the candidates who pass the written test, the prescribed number of candidates will be called for counselling.
- If there is any issue regarding equality of merit in the written examination, then the date of birth of the candidates with equal marks will be considered and the merit of the older candidate will be considered higher.
- If the candidates with equal merit are also found to be equal in age according to the date of birth, then considering the percentage of educational qualification demanded by the candidate in this regard, the merit of the candidate who secured more marks will be considered. According to this procedure, the decision taken by the Subordinate Services Selection Board in the matter of equality of merit will be final and will be applicable to all the candidates.
